G.D. “Dave” Donathan,
III
G.D. “Dave” Donathan, III was raised in McAlester, where he graduated from McAlester High
School in 1965. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University
of Oklahoma and received his D.D.S. degree in 1973 at the University of
Missouri at Kansas City, Missouri. He then entered military service with
the United States Army during which time he completed a two-year
residency in Advanced General Dentistry. He returned to McAlester in
1982 to join his father in the practice of General Dentistry, and has
continued to practice contemporary cutting edge dentistry since that
time
Dr. Donathan is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and the
Oklahoma Dental Association. He is past president of the Oklahoma
Constituency of the Academy of General Dentistry from whom he has been
awarded the prestigious Fellowship and Mastership awards. He is one of a
very small handful of general dentists to have achieved board
qualification by the American Certification Board of General Dentistry.
Since graduation in 1973 he has averaged over 100 hours of continuing
dental education per year. |
